Saskatoon Police Charge Two Men in Dangerous Driving and Firearms Incident – Saskatoon | PKBNEWS

Two men have been charged after the Saskatoon Police Department said a vehicle failed to stop for them Thursday night.

Officers said they attempted to conduct a traffic stop near the intersection of 22nd Street and Avenue P around 7:15 p.m

The driver didn’t stop and drove away at high speed.


Saskatoon Police Department calls for video surveillance in case of missing mother and son

The Air Support Unit followed the vehicle, which stopped briefly at Block 100 of Circle Drive, where a 25-year-old man was arrested and found with a loaded sawed-off shotgun.

The vehicle fled the city towards Krydor, where the 26-year-old suspect attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended.

The 25-year-old faces six counts of firearms and one charge of violating terms and conditions.

The 26-year-old is accused of dangerous driving, dodging the police and driving a vehicle prohibited.
