KULIM – Primus LKS Development Sdn. Bhd. launched a new real estate project called Jazz Park with a gross development value (GDV) of approximately RM1.2 billion, making it an exclusive community development in the district.
Primus Group CEO Datuk Razman Mohd. Noor said the mixed-use project of apartments, business premises, commercial buildings and a special hospital has been developed on a 28-hectare site near Kulim Hi-Tech Park (KHTP).
He said his party’s vision is to help raise Kulim’s status as a modern and contemporary city.
“Jazz Park is strategically located in the capital Kulim and close to several colleges, government offices and industrial areas,” he said, speaking at the opening and inauguration ceremony of Jazz Park here today.
In attendance to preside over the ceremony was Kedah Industry and Investment Committee Chairman Datuk Dr. Ku Abd. Rahman Ku Ismail.
The mega-project is divided into eight phases, with the first phase comprising a chain of famous restaurants, which is expected to be completed by the end of this year, followed by the development of 360 residential units at a cost of approximately RM260,000 per unit over three years should be completed.
According to him, the company also offers an affordable housing program consisting of Aman, Makmur and Kasih types at the development site.
“We are confident that Jazz Park has the potential to be a catalyst for all sub-sectors of the economy in Kedah, where it is expected to be able to generate sustained activity across the commercial, retail, industrial, residential… – and hospitality markets,” he said.
Apart from that, he added, Jazz Park has the potential to be a prime location for various future developments and to provide an excellent opportunity for local and foreign investors to invest and own real estate in an exclusive township area.
Meanwhile, he said his party also organized the Citarasa Irama Muzik Festival for two days, which kicked off today with the presence of famous singer and composer Datuk M. Nasir in conjunction with the launch of the project.
Meanwhile, Ku Abd. Rahman said the project will bring a new image and breath to the development in Kulim, which will enable it to attract more first-time home buyers as well as investors, expatriates and high-tech workers in KHTP.
“The development of this new, modern and exclusive community will feature famous restaurants, shopping malls and hospitals, providing opportunities for residents to relax and have fun,” he said. – COSMO! ON-LINE
