Chelsea are set to make another bid for Manchester City’s ‘extraordinary’ goal

Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea are determined to sign Manchester City target and Leicester City centre-back Wesley Fofana in the summer transfer window. after Fabrizio Romano.

The well-known and respected journalist has claimed on Twitter that Chelsea had an offer of over £70m for Fofana which was rejected by Premier League rivals Leicester City on Friday.

However, according to Romano, Chelsea plan to make a third offer for the defender, who added that the Frenchman is ‘100% willing’.

Chelsea’s determination to sign the youngster will come as a blow to defending Premier League champions Manchester City.

That’s because Pep Guardiola’s side are also said to be keen on the 21-year-old.

According to L’Equipe, both City and last season’s Ligue 1 winners Paris Saint-Germain are keen on signing Fofana, who was signed by former Tottenham Hotspur defender Michael Dawson, on Sky Sports News (12: 1 p.m., 20. 2021).

What now?

If Manchester City want to sign Wesley Fofana, we think they need to make their own bid now to stop Chelsea from finalizing a deal with Leicester City.

Chelsea are reportedly willing to pay more than £70million for the 21-year-old, showing how much they value him.

If City believes that Fofana will make them better, not just for now but for years to come, then they simply have to enter the bidding process.
